Yes, this site has been dormant for a long time. I was a little busy. And now I feel all guilty about not providing you with meaty updates. I have a long queue of things to tell you about and show you, but I feel compelled to start with this one. It is a find from 2005. It's a lot of reading, so let me summarize:
People have been experimenting with savory ice cream: "The most famous example being Blumenthal's smoked bacon and egg ice cream". Did you read that?!? Bacon ice cream. Someone is listening! There's even a recipe near the end of the article! I can't even express my excitement.
