Yes, this site has been dormant for a long time. I was a little busy. And now I feel all guilty about not providing you with meaty updates. I have a long queue of things to tell you about and show you, but I feel compelled to start with this one. It is a find from 2005. It's a lot of reading, so let me summarize:
People have been experimenting with savory ice cream: "The most famous example being Blumenthal's smoked bacon and egg ice cream". Did you read that?!? Bacon ice cream. Someone is listening! There's even a recipe near the end of the article! I can't even express my excitement.
If you decide to make it, please document the event with photos and submit them to Meatsicle.

Sweet Meaty is a site with strange short films, including one called Yummy that is short film that intersperces the worst of farm animal handling practices with a slogan for a famous fast food chain. It's not for meat eaters that want to believe animals are always treated well. For vegetarians it may reinforce their eating lifestyle.

Sometime around April-May 2003, one of the great sites of the internet disappeared: HATS of MEAT. In order to provide this meaty entertainment to the masses, Meatsicle hosted a copy of the HATS of MEAT site that was recreated using the magic that is the internet.
However, in late 2005 the original HATS of MEAT came back into existence. And Steven Bean Levy who runs the site has now started to add new material. So that meat hat adventurers are provided the full experience, Meatsicle is now redirecting all HATS of MEAT traffic to the original site. Check out the new content on HATS of MEAT
